Gilma's professional career began in Colombia, where she received a CPA degree from the University of Manizales. In her years of the students she was a member of the Federation of students of Accounting, where the top students and teachers create spaces for the discussion and development of the System of the Public Account in Colombia.

Gilma worked in the accounting departments of various Colombian corporations including Bancafe, Agroindustrias la Florida S.A. and Provecsa Ltda.

Gilma moved to California in 2003 and quickly expanded her public relations and accounting expertise by working with some of the Latino celebrities in the entertainment industry. She is part of the WePhix team since September 2008; Gilma currently is the COO. Her expertise allows for a great base of customer services in the accounting and bookkeeping areas.

Gilma divides her time between the work, her family and her passion for reading and writing.
